Lisa Jenkins is the founder and CEO at Ten East Ten West. She is an award-winning, veteran producer, journalist, and entrepreneur. After spending eight years producing for Fox Sports Southwest and WFAA, she founded Dreamfly Productions in 2006. Her film, A Birder’s Guide to Everything, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was later released in theaters nationwide. The movie, starring actor Ben Kingsley, was directed by Rob Meyer who co-wrote the film with Academy Award-winner Luke Matheny.
Lisa’s previous film productions include Universal Squadrons (2009), which premiered at Comic-Con Film Festival, and Homestretch (2007), which aired nationally on PBS.
Last year, Lisa and Extreme Home Makeover’s Michael Maloy launched Ten East Ten West Productions, and they served as executive producers of the reality show Horseplayers on Esquire Network. During the last NFL season, Lisa created and produced the Dallas Cowboys weekly talk show, The FAME, with hosts Lindsay Draper and Tony Banks.
Lisa recently was AP on the film 1985 which will have its world premiere at 2018’s SXSW. Lisa is currently developing a television series with producing partners Courtney Lee-Mitchell, Leopold Gout, and Idris Elba based on the critically acclaimed novel Black Water Rising by Attica Locke.
Lisa’s talents for production have also served her as a successful entrepreneur. She recently sold her highly-successful dance academy, Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts to focus solely on Ten East Ten West.
